The Re-emergence and Icy Bridges

Hello.

So it appears I am not dead. Or in a coma, or persistantly vegitative state. I'm quite alive (as much as I ever will be anyway! Get the eternal optimist!).

Having suffered a computer explosion and given up tv amongst other things I have for some reason I haven't yet decided upon put finger to keyboard (NEW keyboard) and here I am...
Since I've last been here I've changed a few things, notably some LINKS (yes, to the left). I urge you check them out. Some are very good indeed, particularly my partner's music and video. Laurie Anderson is there too, and she of course is a very special lady. Enjoy. Go on, do!

ENOUGH of this tomfoolery.

It struck me this morning how sad it is that we as human beings get (or take perhaps)so little time to see those things in life that are simply of great beauty.
Walking over a very icy Richmond Bridge this morning the Thames looked frozen, oily and glorious. Quite magnificent. A few forlorn gulls shivered at it's banks and the omnipresent Heron that is always on the East Twickenham bank stood motionless like a winter sentry. The hill shimmered above draped in a carefully laid out snow curtain.
I slithered to a halt atop the crest of the bridge to momentarily witness this whilst commuters slid by as fast as their feet could on the frozen paving without falling. I had left a little early. I was lucky.
