Lovely lyrics.....Yes it`s by The Associates/Billy Mackenzie again, but SO damn good were they

The Rhythm Divine

You know that my tears
Have kept me awake
the longer you're gone
I'll hunger and shake
From Warsaw to Rome
I'll wait out of time
With you in my heart
The rhythm divine

So won't you come close
Bring this to an end
With each winter rose
My love I'll send
So tender the night
When you hold me tight
With you in my heart
The rhythm divine
With you in my heart
The rhythm divine
With you in my heart
The rhythm divine

You know that these tears
Have kept me awake
the longer you're gone
I'll hunger and shake
From Warsaw to Rome
I'll wait out of time
With you in my heart
The rhythm divine
The rhythm divine
The rhythm divine.....

Listen to me

There's a fog in my eyes
I can no longer realise
Please listen to me (listen to me)
There's a frog in my throat
Sometimes I think that I might choke
But baby please listen to me (listen to me)

You've got the keyt to my heart
However near or far
But baby please listen to me (listen to me)

You've got to understand
In anyway that you can (anyway)
I'm your biggest fan
Listen to me (listen to me)

I know sometime that you're wrong
Mixed up and very proud and strong
But baby please listen to me (listen to me)

If you forget the past
It's the only little thing that I ask
So baby please listen to me (listen to me)
Listen to me
So baby please listen to me
Listen to me
Listen to me

Liberty Lounge

The story unfolds like the winter brings with her the snows
My friends promise me one thing
You'll raise your glass high to the sign of Orion
In Liberty Lounge they tell the best stories in town
They sing upstairs with Brando
That he come 'round and duet with Monroe

A car waits outside to take you uptown
To tattoo your mind
The air, perfumed and stirred
Set your soul free, free as a night bird
On a street down on Mars
Tell me what could I do?
I can visit a psychic who can sing me the blues
Those earthly blues

The story unfolds like the winter brings with her the snows
My friends promise me one thing
You'll raise your glass high to the sign of Orion
In Liberty Lounge they tell the best stories in town
They sing upstairs with Brando
That he come 'round and duet with Monroe
In Liberty Lounge

Sing That Song Again

There's rhymes and there's reasons
You know that we don't have to talk to be heard
'Til hell freezes over
I love you but you say they're just empty words
And you'll keep that promise
The one that you made to yourself when you cried
For once I'll be honest
The ghost of my love somehow can't be denied

So sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you're still there
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you still care
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel I have a choice
Sing that song again
The one that wraps me all up in your voice
Sing that song again

There's tears and there's riches
You know that we don't have to see to believe
There's pearls and there's bridges
And rivers run deep but you know I can't leave
And you'll keep that promise
The one that you made to yourself when you cried
For once I'll be honest
The ghost of my love somehow can't be denied

So sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you're still care
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you're still there
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel I have a choice
Sing that song again
The one that wraps me all up in your voice
Sing that song again

So sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you're still there
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel that you still care
Sing that song again
The one that makes me feel I have a choice
Sing that song again
The one that wraps me all up in your voice
Sing that song again

Sing that song again, sing that song again, sing that song again.....

Cough.....

HELLO!

So has been happening with me since, well a while really...
Well i spent alot of last week being unwell, there has been a `bug` doing the rounds here. I do not know many people who haven`t had this particularly unpleasant cold. I initially got it Monday, by Tuesday i was really feeling like utter shite - snotty nose, rheumy eyes, sneezes, headache, cough and splutter!! Oh dear...So i had Tues sick from work and stayed in bed all day and sweated, i would have been neither use nor ornament! Went back Weds, still feeling dreadful; but able to function. Most of the symptoms have generally gone now, though i have been left with a rather irritating cough - must get to the Dr to sort that one out! When i have a spare moment!
As for the rest, well i haven`t really been up to much apart from trying to eat well and rest up a bit - I have never watched so many movies in my life!! Would have been quite nice if i wasn`t unwell!

Listening to -

The Beautiul people - `If 60`s were 90`s`

Pulp - `We love life`

Martin Stephenson & the daintees -`There comes a time`

Doves - `The last broadcast`

Reading -

Tony Hawks - `One hit wonderland`

Alec Guinness - `My name escapes me`

Watching (sick in bed movies :) -

24 hour party people

Tea with Mussolini

The acid house

Shrek

Schindler`s list

Ok, now i will pop orff for a quick cough and then begin some overdue reports from work that need doing...

BIG X
