O neglectful me that hath not blogged for awhile!
Well the move was successful, Isleworth is FAR nicer than gloomy old Hounslow and i walk to work across the rolling parklands of the local national trust house at Syon Park and alongside the Thames. All very pleasant, when the weather is...I think i will get a bike when i get some cash together. Then i will be all bronzed by the sun and fit as a fiddle all in one!
I AM completely broke though, but hey it can`t be that bad. Once i get my deposit, or most of it back from the last place (CP Towers to those in the know), then i will be a bit more fluid finacially...
Jp is still lovely, seeing him later.. ;-)
Mands mum passed away last weekend, which is terribly sad. She had fought various forms of cancer for over 10 years. A lovely lady who i have known (along with Mands), almost as far back as i can remember. The funeral is on Tuesday, so i have booked a day off for that. Saw Mands last Wednesday, she seems to be coping well considering how very close they are.
Still haven`t totally sorted out my room, a couple of un-opened boxes to go yet, haven`t had alot of spare time this week. But generally it`s lots nicer (and much cleaner!), than the old place. The room i have is a bit bigger and more `user friendly` and i even have wireless broadband into the bargain, which is fab!
Someone burned the new Morrissey cd `You are the quarry` - it`s the best thing he has done in many years!
